I have always loved going to Famous Uncle.... The food is always good and they have very friendly people that worked there. It's always a pleasure.
They've been around 40 years and it's easy to see why. Dogs are super flavorful with a great snap, and the fries are perfect: hot, a little crisp outside, soft inside, crinkle cut. Due to recent issues with Boar's Head, they sometimes use a different supplier, but both brands are great. The lunch rush is super busy, noon-1pm on weekdays plan on maybe having to wait a minute for a table and it gets noisy with that many people. Worth the wait! Best time to go is early bird dinner, you practically get the place to yourself.
We stopped by for a few take out hot dogs. Service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. 2 with chili, mustard and onions and 2 with mustard only. We also added 2 orders of fry’s that were cooked to order and done perfectly.
Fabulous!!! This is the place to go, especially if you want to eat out and not break your wallet. Great staff, the food was delicious, the decorations took me back to places my dad took me on weekends as a kid. The service was quick (even though it was packed) and it was very clean. Will come here again!

Truly a Five Star dining (lunch) experience, both food and service. We went there after church, we had different items, & we all left there full, satisfied, and happy. I had, and recommend, the Knockwurst with chili, mustard, relish, & sauerkraut, with fries. Our waitress, 'Jackie', was nothing short of outstanding. She was prompt in coming to our table and she always came by at the right times, not too much & not too little. She was genuinely pleasant/friendly, efficient, helpful, & she was intelligent/fast on the uptake. We made a 'fun' game of asking everyone the 'hotdog questions' printed on the tables, and then Jackie brought us the answer sheet. A good time had by all.
